About Call Out's

Micro Fusion Computers is based in Springs, ZA which is considered our local operations home town. Any area outside of Springs and its extensions are considered as remote locations. Call-outs to these areas will fall under our remote call-out policies. This will not cover out of province travel or exceeding 100KM from Springs. If you require us to come out to a area exceeding the maximum remote area or to a different province or country additional costs will apply and will be discussed in advance.

How we calculate a call-out is initially we will bill you for the call-out itself once off, then depending of which operation we need to perform we will the bill you per required operation. This can be per hour or a once off flat rate.

About PC Repairs

At Micro Fusion we want to deliver the best and fastest service possible. We try our best not to keep your system for more than 2 working days. Normally we do our best to make repairs the very same day if no specialised hardware is required for the repair. Usually if a PC was collected it will be returned the next day. If it was dropped off collection can be the same day if all goes well or the following day. We will notify you after assessment with an estimated repair time period so you can plan your productivity. We will contact you first before taking any actions after we have professionally performed an assessment on the System's situation. Making sure we operate within scope and margins. Micro Fusion uses quality parts in both PC builds and repairs, making sure your system will last.

About Client Data, Virus & Malware Removal

At Micro Fusion will do our utmost best to safeguard your data at all costs. We honour our clients confidentiality of their data always regardless of content. Regrettably in certain circumstances your data might not be recovered. We always advice clients to have backups of their sensitive data, a Safe bet is to have at least 2 duplicate copies separated on 2 different devices or storage mediums.

About Microsoft Windows And Other Operating Systems

Micro Fusion only allows for genuine legal copies of Microsoft Windows to be installed at our base of operations. Under no circumstances do we condone piracy or practice any software licensing fraud. If we are tasked to work on your PC and we need to install or reinstall Microsoft Windows, we will either install a 30 day trail so that you can then activate windows and other software with your licenses or request your original licenses so we can do the activations on you behalf. Pricing is available from us for all Microsoft products should you wish to purchase or include Windows with your build or repair.

As an alternative, we also fully support some Linux Distributions. Most commonly Linux Mint and Ubuntu. should you wish not to have Microsoft Windows installed we can gladly offer you Linux free of charge for your pc build or repair. Installation and set up fees will apply but Linux itself as an operating system is free of charge reducing the initial cost.

Micro Fusion Computers also support duel booting set-ups should you wish to run both Windows and Linux on one system. This can be handy for software developers as well as enthusiasts dealing with embedded projects.

About Web and C++ Application Development

MFC offers both website development and design as well as cross platform C++ desktop and service applications mostly targeted at embedded systems and prototyping such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino projects. Our C++ Source code can normally be compiled on both Windows and Linux systems. for I386 (32 bit), AMD64 (64 bit) and ARM architectures. Unfortunately this does not include any mobile and game projects. We are currently looking to expand into the mobile app development genre but that's not available as a service just yet.

We normally develop for Linux LAMP servers as they tend to be faster and less expensive then .Net ASP servers. Naturally we use technologies such as HTML5, PHP, MySQL, javascript and CSS to create rich, beautiful, modern, and dynamic websites. If you rather wish to manage dynamic content we also support setting up Content Management Systems (CMS) like Wordpress for our clients and can advise and harden it to prevent exploitations and mishaps from common pitfalls etc.
